Shortly after Christmas Kelly came to Montana to visit Gene and in the process they headed down this way to see Syd and Andy. While they were here, they decided to partake in a day of skiing up on the hill. The girls loved having them around and smothered them like crazy. Kelly and I had both just gotten new IPod touches for Christmas, so we were comparing tunes and videos for them and while we were doing that Syd and Gene were watching comic clips on YouTube. Don't ask me why they got started on that, but somehow Syd pulled it up on the computer!

Christmas time adventures 2009
During the Christmas holidays we do a lot of activities it seems. We partake in the Moss Mansion Christmas Extravaganza, as Patti decorates a display there each season. We go to Lewistown to spend time with the Miller side of the family. We have gift openings at my parents' home, at our house, and then again usually with the neighbors. I love to stretch out that holiday feeling! So hence the smorgasbord of pictures below!
It's nice that all of us can travel in the car together! Off to Lewistown we go!
And Gloria braved getting down on the floor to play with Josie and her treehouse/playhouse doll set.
Blake is 1 year 4 months younger than Addison, and unfortunately, I think he'll feel the wrath of these three girls in the later years, but he's a welcome addition!

Addison loves these mice. They sing and dance and sway back and forth. It was great entertainment for her while I was trying to decorate for the holidays. I've included 2 videos below - I had to do both - they are too cute!

Addison is big time into princess dresses, but at her size not many fit. So this was my alternative to that problem - a tutu! And she loves, loves, loves it!
Josie had to model each and every thing she got, this is just a couple of them! And again with the possessed look! Ha!

Abbey, our neighbor, had a Barbie Jeep that she and Josie truck around in. Often Addison gets left out, so Santa this year brought her her very own 4-wheeler and it's even DORA!
Too funny!
And Santa was busy this year! He brought Josie her own bicycle, helmet and pads! she rode this back and forth on our tile for weeks
nonstop in the house!

Britton family wedding
My cousin, whom I have 't seen in years, was getting married this holiday season. Since I haven't seen many people from my mother's side of the family for years and most of them haven't seen my girls, we decided to go. It was a great excuse to get my cuties all dressed up!

Papa was a trooper and agreed to dance with the girls. Little did he know that Addison wouldn't let him quit!

Christmas program at school
Around the holidays Josie's preschool held a holiday program and then followed by snacks and all sorts of foods. I'm including two of the videos that we took that day and I'll apologize in advance - I didn't take my tripod and I'm standing far away, so there's a bit of a shake to them, but cute nonetheless! The firemen were also able to stop by and guess who they brought with them? SANTA! It was a hit!
Waiting patiently? I think not, but Mommy's phone provides some entertainment!

Reading at breakfast
We've recently been getting the newspaper just on Sunday mornings. The girls have picked up on this routine and have now started to want to read at the table for breakfast, too. This is them wanting to read with Daddy, but with a calendar!

Girls in a basket
As I was redecorating for the holiday season, I had out all sorts of nicknacks. One of them happened to be this basket. Addison climbed in it first and from there, of course, Josie wanted to. I got them both to finally sit in it together - and this is the result. Cute, cute, cute! (If I do say so myself! Hee, hee!)

A Thanksgiving in Scobey
This was our first time seeing new baby Kale Evan who was born in October. He is such a happy and sweet little baby!

The Galvin Visit
So I don't know how to put into words just how rock-awesome it was that Travis, Jody, Allee, and Nathan came to visit us right before Thanksgiving. As Jody and I have been saying "it made my year". We truly miss them and were very grateful they made time for us in their schedule while visiting Montana!! Thanks again guys!
While they were here, we made a run up to Red Lodge to get the kids sled. Not much snow up there but it was the day before opening for the season on the ski hill, so they let us use the ski school run to sled on and the kids had a blast! I just wish we would have had another sled - but that problem has now been fixed!
On the way up to the hill, however, there was road construction and we had to stop and wait. Girls were not so happy about that, so this is them waiting. Jody and I were being silly because we had to sit for so long and we did something I haven't done for years - a Chinese Fire Drill! Ha! I still laugh thinking about that. The boys and Addison were behind us in the Galvin's vehicle and they were laughing at us. Not to mention that Travis was having a fit about what they were doing with the construction and how it was being handled as far as traffic was concerned. I thought that was funny!
The crew all dressed up and schlepping up the hill to go sledding!
Agh, the product of some fresh air, playing hard and a full tummy! Nice!

Friends come! Hip! Hip! Hooray!
Enough said, I should think! But alas, I am not quite that reserved and am more verbose than I should be at times, so hence, I write more! Hee, hee. So one night that the Galvin's were here, we were all just sitting around being silly. The girls were wrestling with Travis and Syd and chasing each other around and then Jody was doing all sorts of silly things for the girls to mimic! It was great! I have some videos - so be looking
The girls were really digging being swung upside down and really did a great job taking turns since there was three of them and only 2 daddies!
Jody was a trooper and ran around with all three girls hanging off of her!

Earlier in the day I had some chipboard snowflakes that we had the girls color and decorate with sparkle glitter. They had a good time and the snowflakes turned out just great!
